MIC plays a pivoting role as (i) an interface between
research institutions and groups, such as universities, and public
bodies, including municipalities and local autonomy bodies, and (ii)
one between the academic community and the industry/business world.
MIC conducts the following activities to
promote new concept-based business, social education and the
protection of the environment.
MICfs major business activities include: |
1) Consulting in the area of advanced science
and technology.
2) The development of advanced science and
technology industries, and in- or out- sourcing or technical mediation
to these industries: The promotion & patenting.
3) Coordination of the process of translating
or configuring research to the needs of industry, and industrial
seed investment in university research: The promotion of gtranslationalh
research for drug design or new materials science.
4) Education of entrepreneurs and international
mediation relating to technical terminology.
5) Nano-science and technology-based IT network
and communications.
6) Nano-science and technology-based risk
management, emphasizing active eco-science for destructed or contaminated
environments: Hydrodynamic analyses for groundwater and promotion
of remedial technology for surface soil.
7) International- and domestic-based review
of research and educational activities of universities or research
institutions.
8) New educational programs or projects for
preparatory school industry and other educational organizations.
9) Editing of text books of history from
an international perspective.
10) Establishment of researchersf
and teachersf consortia as comprehensive think tanks and the foundation
of NPO-operated universities or educational institutions.
